December 4, 2010 -- More bowling centers are getting on board, and bowling ball manufacturers are being invited to participate.  The goal is to be able to give away at least 1 bowling ball per bowling center that hosts one of the weekly sweepers.  These bowling balls will be given away to the points leader for each bowling center.  The point system will go as follows:

 

25 bowlers or fewer

40 points for participation

40 points -- 1st place

32 points -- 2nd place

24 points -- 3rd place

16 points -- 4th place

8 points -- 5th place

 

26 bowlers to 40 bowlers

40 points for participation

40 points -- 1st place

35 points -- 2nd place

30 points -- 3rd place

25 points -- 4th place

20 points -- 5th place

15 points -- 6th place

10 points -- 7th place

5 points -- 8th place

   41 bowlers to 60 bowlers
40 points for participation
40 points -- 1st place
36 points -- 2nd place
32 points -- 3rd place
28 points -- 4th place
24 points -- 5th place
20 points -- 6th place
16 points -- 7th place
14 points -- 8th place
8 points -- 9th place
4 points -- 10th place

 

Some bowling centers will add an additional $1 per entry to allow more prizes to be given away based on points.  We are currently talking with Michigan companies and bowling ball manufacturers to sponsor these sweepers with donated prizes, but we can also use the extra $1 per entry to purchase prizes at discounted rates.

 

Long story short...we want to give away a lot of stuff, and we are working on making that possible.  Check the sponsors page often to see who is working with us to make this a reality.
